Life

TheFoodCycleLife is a creative multimedia project that explores the way food is produced, consumed, and disposed of in cities across the United States. The aim of the project is to provide a narrative map of the way food moves through a city -- where it's grown, how it's sourced, the way it's prepared, who serves and eats it, and, ultimately, where it ends up.
At its heart, the project is an ongoing storytelling endeavor. It's a digitally-based riff on the short story cycle, where meaning is evoked episodically, through a series of independent, yet interrelated, vignettes that all share the common theme of food in America.
TheFoodCycleLife operates according to the belief that stories light the way of human understanding, and that mapping the meaning of food in America is best accomplished through quality conversation and the art of narrative.
If you'd like to tell your story of food in your community, or you'd like to learn more about the project, then please feel free to shoot me an email at TheFoodCycleLife@gmail.com
